With reliable trade winds from spring to autumn and a wide, sandy, waist-deep bay, Essaouira is one of the world’s great places to learn kitesurfing. Our instructors coach you step by step, from kite control and body-dragging to your water start, until you are riding independently.

How many hours does it take to learn kitesurfing?
Most people need around 8 hours of lessons to ride independently, which is why our 8-hour course is the most popular way to go from zero to your first rides.
When is the wind season in Essaouira?
The main wind season runs from March to October, with reliable thermal winds almost every afternoon.
Can my kids learn to kitesurf?
Yes! We offer dedicated Kids Kite Lessons, with patient instructors and child-sized equipment so young riders can learn safely at their own pace.
